All dressed up and on their way to get married!
Out enjoying the cape one weekend and shooting with my new favorite – the Yashica Mat 124G (Ektar pushed 1 stop).
Some floral arrangements shot from Trapp Family Lodge a few weeks ago at a wedding show that I was able to be a part of thanks to the super talented wedding event coordinator Jenna Piper Emrich. There are so many creative people in the wedding industry in Vermont. Floral design by Erin Ostreicher Designs and Wildflower Designs.
This wedding was planned super quick (like in one week to be exact!). Anna and Alex came back to the northeast to visit family for Christmas and while they where here, they decided, “what better time to get married then now?”. This decision was not made carelessly as her mother is fighting cancer, they wanted to spend time with their closest family and friends and celebrate at the place where Anna used to lifegaurd in the summer – The Kedron Valley Inn. Everything at this wedding was special. They had her sister on the laptop skyping and facetiming almost the entire day – she even gave a toast.
Vermont has such a great network of local photographers. Anna and Alex contacted another photographer (he was unavailable) who in turn sent them to me and I am grateful that I was able to capture this wedding for them.
Thankful to have this spread feature in the current Vermont Vows print magazine. I’m lucky to have worked with some amazing local talent on this shoot and had a blast while doing it!
This was a beautiful day at Shelburne Farms Museum for David and Mary’s wedding. You can never tell what the weather is going to be in Vermont in early August but we hit it just right. This place is so easy to photograph with many locations and backdrops to choose from and David and Mary made me feel so comfortable! And another thing; they had one of the best bands I have ever heard at a wedding (Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution). That was awesome! Thank you David and Mary!
